Usually my process begins with a meeting to discuss hopes, dreams & fears; followed by a meeting to go over the birth plan.

Labor support begins with on demand virtual support from 36 weeks. We will determine when in person support begins—I usually join once admitted for hospital birth, and case by case for out of hospital birth.

The first postpartum visit is reserved for birth processing and lactation support. The second visit is whatever it needs to be—usually newborn care education and processing support as you enter your new roles as parents.

In our consultation we’ll go over your needs, hopes, and dreams. I usually like to spend our 3 visits going over child birth education, birth plan prep, and postpartum prep. We will also do some stretching and movement work to help you ease the strain of pregnancy and to help me understand what will help you in labor. The postpartum visits are a little less structured. The first one is dedicated to birth processing and the rest are help. These last 2 visits do not expire and can be used for sleep regressions, date nights, and whatever else may come up.
